Add on shipping the bike to the store, tax, shock pump, new pedals, and of course the timer.

Wait, bike shops charge you shipping when they order you a bike? That's ridiculous!

I suppose it all depends on what kind of riding you do. Just be careful with the triple chainring.

I have the same bike, only problems I have is the fork, it's horrible and the pivots, they strip and break to easily. Try and machine your owm Chromoly pivots.

flag fr112358 (Mar 24, 2009 at 16:23)
What exactly happened to the pivots on your bike?

flag t3aSeR (Mar 25, 2009 at 9:30)
Theres a big play with the spacing in the pivots behind the bb, and when you tighten it it litterally eats into your bearings.

Oh dear. Do ride really hard DH?
Or did you bottom it a lot?

flag t3aSeR (Mar 26, 2009 at 6:14)
Not really, there isn't much hectic dhing here. A spancer or washer in there will fix the problem. I'm just too lazy. You can have a look yourself, all the frames are like that.

Its a blow off for the shock. The little container is pumped full of air and when you hit a landing hard, it prevents the bike from bottoming out too easily.

Time machine obviously. I just punch in the date and co-ordinates and push "enter".

Oh, I was hoping it was a little device that you could load pennies into and it would shoot them at other riders.

flag fr112358 (Sep 21, 2009 at 15:01)
That would make perfect sense. After all on a DH course there is only one rider at a time.
