should be really good, if you think about it when you push really hard you will be storing kinetic energy in the belt which can then be released to turn the sprocket giving a quicker acceleration

i think it would would if their was a lot of tensoin but if you chain case it will stretch it or snap it so. maby like a nilon or weaved metal strands inside it or somthing
