I completely agree. I was very aware of the fact that I wasn't wearing one. I hate riding without a helmet, but this was done just for photographic effect on a track that I know very well. I did do a couple of runs with a lid on but you couldn't see my little ears! Normally I'd never ride without one. And I always fasten it up.
