thats awesome, extreme mountain bike laine
if you say that, try getting on one and drop 12 feet onto flat pavement... and honestly, why is there so much hate between bmx and mtb? i do both and don't see why there needs to be all this, i just saw this with the street setting and thought of it as more of a bmx thing
I have alot of respect for bmxers, they are good and diffenetly go big, but I dont like to riding them, they are to smal.. lol
yeah i saw this bmx do a tailwhip over a 30 foot gap, it was like one of those gaps you can't case or you die cause it was a concrete block thing for the landing
i never said they didn't
lets put it this way, mtb is good for something, bmx is good for other things lol
you can ride prety much anything on a mtb on a bmx you can only ride like street/park/and perfect dirt jumps ,you know what I mean haha so theres a big advantege in mtb its way more versatil
holy f*ck u guys are annooying if it has 2 wheels i`ll ride it biking is fun just go out and ride andre u little shit u cant spelll frenchie
mtbs are deffinately not more versitile... mtb's break so much more with all their aluminum and dials and suspension. BMX is like a block of metal and can be thrown around alot more than a mtb. Just take a look that spaz aaron ross throws his bike all over the place and smashes the hell outa it and he picks it back up and rides it. If you did that to a mtb you would crack a fork stantion or break a lever or mangle a derailer. BMX is also a cheeper bike to maintain as a prospec bmx can be built up from the ground on 1600 cad where as a mtb just the fork costs that much.

You find me a mtber that can boost that high outa a quarter.
Not that i dont give credit to mtb cause i ride mtb as well but your one path minded morons annoy me. It works like this: if you have the balls you can go big on anything. It just comes down to preference. Thats like the atv mx rivalry. Stop being a giant douche just because you dont like to ride them.

um no you cant. Mtbs cant ride small tech park simply because they are too big. They also arnt very good with rails nor are they as flickable. Look at the size of a jump you need to do a tailwhip on a mtb where as bmxers are doing flat tailwhips. They arnt versatail they have suspension, learn the difference. Why would you want to ride a bmx for downhill... and why would you want to ride a dh rig on a skatepark. If you are generalizing mtbs as the do anything bike.. you are compairing a bmx to hardtails, and fullies as being one.. which isnt possible. If you wanted to do everything you would need to buy 2 mountain bikes anyways so why is it wrong to get a dh bike and a bmx and you can do just as much as if u were to buy a hardtail and a dh rig.

lol well if you get a good mtb it wont break and yes mtbers can flat ground tail whip with 26" wheels.. im not talking about a big dh rig im juste sayin a 26" wheeled bike single speed, with a smal 100mm travel fork
heres a boost juste as big as the one you showed me

its called a dirt jump bike. they are basically a big bmx bike. dont waste your time writing comments that are 4783264718647328562738647865782657438 words long cuz no one cares
you cant compare all mountainbikes to bmx because mtb itself is not one type of bike. If i were to compare a bmx to a 29er i could promise u the bike is stronger but that isnt a fair comparison
yeah thats right. but comparing a dj bike to a BMX, there is not alot of differences except the dj has bigger wheels and suspension
exactly... so if they are the same y do u think they are better? mtb has the advantage of suspension and smooth ride, bmx has extra agility and pegs... there you go not much difference just preference
i must say that is a nice feeling
but i like the rock hard smooth ride of a bmx, you can pedal once and just keep on coasting for ever
how to coast? hahahah the bearings are so little that they give it a super super smooth feel, like next time your at a bike shop ask to ride a bmx in the parking lot and you'll notice it
or spin a bmx tire at the same time as your dh tire and see what one spins longer hahaha and one thing i can do that i bet you can't do is ride backwards for about 25-30 feet
haha i beat you i could coast backwards a good 100+ feet. Now im back on a mtb to see if i can get better at djing this summer lol.
