sam hill would have kicked ass. even after falling he missed steve's time by nothing, he is trully the worlds best rider. btw, thats a pretty sad quote you added to the photo x:
On the top section he owned, but he obviously pushed it too hard, causing him to fall off-therefore in one way isn't the worlds best.
Still, I feel SO gutted for him. Must have been so devistating to be that far ahead then suddenly loose it! Cant believe he still came third though!!! He is amazing! Who saw his run? SO quick over the technical stuff!

yeah it's a shame because he was f*cking flying, but then again i'm glad because a bit of home grown came through to win, and unlike most people on this site i support riders from my own country.

Gee was the winner and there for the best because he got from top to bottom the fastest.
but mad props to sam for what he did, 10secs up on gee where he crashed which is truly mental, i doubt he even braked on that run! it takes a real man to hit that track like he did!

I'll say he is the fastest in the world, but certainly not the most consident. He pushes it to hard sometimes, if he could find a nice medium i think he would win more.

People say that Sam is the best rider in the world, yet the best rider in the world wouldn't have lost control. He had loads of time, someone shouted "6 seconds!" to him, and then he lost it. Gee Atherton didn't lose it, and so is currently the best rider in the world.
point taken, even so...he is probably the fastest on the world circuit, there is no other rider that can win a race by as much as he can, or even fall and still come in third, or not slip out on a corner like that at such a speed.
whatever you say, THE WORLD IS ROUND, THE WHEEL IS ROUND..How good the rider is, if it's not for you, it won't be urs..Everybody knows that SAM is the man to watch out..Remember, there will be more races in coming months..Goodluck!
All Sam Hills run showed is that he has got the balls to blast it through a suicidally steep and bumpy terrain - however, he crashed on a comparatively easy part of the course, through no ones fault but his own, he nearly crashed on the same place during one of his practice runs too, losing his wheel in exactly the same place - he may be the fastest rider in the world when it comes to the rough stuff... but the end results showed who's the fastest!

First of all how would you know the feeling of racing Worlds??? If you had that much pressure of winning, Pressure from Sponsors.. Family.. Friends.. Teammates.. Rivals.. And not to forget your Home Country your representing!!!
You obviously have no f*cking clue of what it actually takes to Pro!! Neither do I but at-least I have an idea of the reason he might be crying over..

Couldn't agree more. To mock someone's emotions for putting everything on the line and coming up short can only serve as proof that the poster of this image/quote has never taken a risk or put their heart into anything in their life. Pathetic.
Alright guys, I must say I have been having some slight troubles controlling what my brother uploads on to this site. I realize that much of the content is completely useless but I urge you guys to stop flaming him as he is only nine and I don't think this is very good for his self-esteem. I will try to make sure that he reframes from uploading similar content.
