messed up in a rocky section of a course, got a little bit of air off of one rock, landed sideways and i guess it made the chain stay crack a little bit.
yeah, i definitely need to get a new fork on that, that frame doesn't deserve to have such low end junk on it. i was looking at getting a fox 32 (100mm) for next season. a SID would be nice but probably way to much.
I've had the forks for a year, so I've worked out all the kinks. not to sure about the weight. most likely around 28 pounds now. the parts on it are pretty low low end. next year its going down to 23 pounds when i give it a complete overhaul.
could someone explain why everyone is going crazy over this bike? is it all sarcasm or have you guys never seen a XC bike before? Cause I have a few to show you if you haven't....
Trail: my house Riders: me :D Description: my new frame! got to love warranty. took them three days to order it in. i was suppose to get the 07 trek 6000 (what i had) but i got this beast (trek 8500)
