dude seriously screw that. I wear a helmet and shin guards when i DH but not when i commute. If I ride to the store for a soda there is no need for a helmet. On a nice ride down the block ur just as likely to fall off ur bike as u r to trip and fall while walking. So on that note i think pedestrians should wear helmets too. And where i live everything is connected by interstate so if a car hits me at 65-75 mph i think ill have bigger things to worry about besides my head. (just a practical perspective)

no you should have seen the neg props for a having a wrong opinion, most car crashes take place 2 miles from the owners house.

Dude, commuting is more dangerous than riding the DH trails in my area. People are lunatics when they are in a hurry to get to Starbucks, McDonalds, or work while they are trying to text, smoke, or any of the other idiot things I have seen drivers do. You are right though. It is your head.
