wait, hang on a second
(not trying to be a d*ck for once)
but this guy just has pics of other riders
i thought youre not meant to do that
or at least not get pod for that
cause ive seen these other kids with nice pics
and everyone has just bagged him out for it
what's the difference with this situation?

schwarzer, you arn't meant to just have other peoples photos, its quite possible thet this guy is a photographer he may not have many pics of himself riding or may not even ride. It's not the same as steling a photo from another photographer and trying to pass it off as you own.
look at this pic and his real pictures, are like cell phone quality ahha, but its really cool picture and he gived credit to the rider so who cares
This picture had been taken by LARS SCHARL. He just ripped it from his page. Why the users on pinkbike just can't keep their hands of other peoples work? You not even named the photographer in the description.

it would suck for him if he went thru the fence tho
tho i bet that's a sturdy fence considering it's right next to a train
[Reply]
This is damn nice. Almost looks like he's far from the fence and boosting off of seemingly nothing. Interesting pic
thats really tight
love how the shirt, gloves, bike, and sticker on his helmet all match
and the whole wall ride next to the train makes it even sicker
Mad props on the shot

Anyone who thinks that this doesnt deserve POD is absolutely out of thei mind. NICE WORK I WANT MORE!!
i dont think he was intending a BMX/mtb fight just that half the street riders out there would be better off with a BMX , it's the right tool for the job
Major props to the photographer for getting the rider so in focus but blurring the lights on the train!

WOWAWEEYWA! That looks amazing. Must have taken ua few times to get that so perfect with the train in.
That does look really cool, but just not right.. =/
His back wheel looks like its touching the wall/fence w/e .. But in proportion that would make the rider like 15ft tall, he just looks to big compared to the fence/train etc..
Yes, im saying it looks edited, so come on hipocrits, roll on with the negative props..

I see what you mean but i think its got something more to do with the lenses. Looks like a 28mm. Gives the sense of depth rather than a tele does.
You can see the shadows from his wheel on the fence so hes hasnt just been put in there with PS.
I really like the lighting on it

Really nice picture!! But it's photoshopped! The guy has been added in. You can tell by the edges on the wheels...not perfect...and also where's his shadow on the ground.
Still I think its an awesome picture!! Great colours!

It's not photoshopped, the fence is much further away from the train than it looks, even though it looks about the same height, the train is much taller. The low camera angle makes it look the same height. if you look at the guy, that would make the fence about 6ft tall, which is about right. The bright flash makes him look photoshopped, why would there be a shadow on the ground if the flash low? You can see his flash-shadow on the fence behind him. Any shadow from a streetlamp would be absorbed in the confusion of the fence and the moving train.
Hey Mogli66, Clown college does not count as college qualifications. I don't care if you can juggle chain saws, this picture is still real. People love to hate shit.
It's called flash, it generally makes the rider stand out. And as ocsrider said, did he photoshop the dust cloud in too???
its called a flood light you moron..... riders use them at night to take nice pictures and to make the rider stand out. also if the pic is fake mr. im so smart mogli, explain how he photoshopped the dirt. also check the fence and notice that behind the rider he has blocked the floodlight. so indeed he has a shadow its just extremely big cause the light source is so close. PAY ATTENTION COCKf*gS
Lol, peeprox is right!!!
And the tires not being perfect is because of the flash and the nobbles/grip!

Also, I'm sure he photoshopped in the board in the lower right hand corner that the rider used to get over the curb.
You guys are acting like photoshopping anything into a picture is hard! f*cking morons! How the hell do you think alot of pictures are created perfectly. They use photoshop. Its so easy to add a dust cloud its not even funny and the board is even easier! Get a grip and actually learn something about photoshop before even commenting like you know all about it.
And were in my comment does it seem like I am hating! I am pointing out something in the picture. If you actually read my comment I say its an awesome picture with great colours! I actually compliment the picture. So I get negative props for speaking my mind and then saying I actually really like the picture. Congratulations guys you really are f*cking retarded! At least I said something more than.....POD....or thats a great shot or I blow goats cause I can type like a fanny on the Internet! Get over yourselves!!

I was going to ruin you ^^ but I just realized that you said "type like a fanny"......... Based on that sentence, you must be the single biggest pussy on the face of the earth. Even your vagina's vagina has a vagina. Good luck "man", you f*cking need it.

you idiots, its not photoshopped, you can see the ramp and you can see the dust that picked up from his tires, you can clearly see that theres a shadow of him and where the fence pushed inward from his bike
[Reply]
its definately photoshoped u can look at the edges on the tires and tell. ther is no shadow and the fence woud not be perfectly strait
even if it is photoshoped whos gives a sweet flying fu*k, ppl need to quit hating! props to the pic and the rider
its so clear i can acualy tell whats going on and it looks like hese going to bail i love this pod fo sho

yooooooooooooooooooooooo that realy ssssssssuuuuuuuuuuuuuucccccccccckkkkkkkkksssssssssss
p.s really crappy
p.s really crappy
thought this site was for giving props to people how love to ride not to a bunch of geeks that want to nit pic every last detail of every last photo. give your props and go ride your f@ckin bike.
what the hell? its not photoshopped at all... the photographer used a fill light, the shadow would not be on the ground. the light is probably 3-4 times brighter than the street lights. also hes no added in, the angle of the shot gives the rider uneven proportion and yes... probably 28mm slight wide angle throws things off a bit.
awesome photo. myspace background for me. haha

Hey Dude,
Thanks for uploading my photo
would've been nice to include the correct copyright and information tho... the shot is (c) by Lars Scharl and the location was in Munich, Germany.
As for the dudes who are interested in the technical details: the shot isn't manipulated in Photoshop. I used a 200mm lens on a Canon 5d, plus two Canon flashes, one from the left of the frame and one from the right.
Go check out my other photos. Cheers, Lars
