flag kyle7 (Jul 10, 2008 at 7:12)
Because you dont need a 6inch disc for street.

It's not the P.1, it's a P.2 or P.3

flag odin333 (Jul 8, 2008 at 15:12)
yeah, it has the same frame as the 08 p.2/p.3 with the seat gusset, the p.1/p.2cro.mo weren't as complicated and were just straight bars.

I thought it was a p3 too, but why the hell does it have ss then explain to me that? and on this website: http://www.leelikesbikes.com/ it says p1. And back in 2004 and previous, the p1s were alu, so maybe they are bringing that back..

exactly, and the chainstays are shorter because of the bent seat tube. And bmx cranks and micro drive. If it had a pivotal setup, it would be amazing.

on my friends 2006 p.2cromo the tire(26") was like 3 mm away for the seattube, then he switched to 24's

flag kyle7 (Jul 8, 2008 at 17:11)
They bent it next year. And that is a dumb move. If its not rubbing then its fine. Even if it is close. And If it was 3mm then he shouldve just got a slicker tire. But 24s makes the bb soooooooo low.
  • - 1
flag heyhey (Jul 8, 2008 at 18:16)
no,its actually not too low.and he had the stock specialized tire.lol

people who are saying its the p3 are stupid. it says on the site its the p1. just because it doesnt have the same frame as last year doesnt mean it isnt. look at the 09 sx. there totally different and you dont see anyone saying its not an sx. rant over
  • + 1
flag kyle7 (Jul 9, 2008 at 20:57)
exactly. But finally everyone convinced me it was the p3, but i was convinced it was the p1. And on that site is says p1 and he got the info straight from specialized. And the p3 cant be ss. Just cant.
  • - 1
flag kyle7 (Jul 9, 2008 at 20:58)
and its more like a street bike like the p1 is supposed to be. Bmx cranks and sprocket, ss, lighter then usual.

Let us stop by the framework dirt mark, P.1, which takes again the geometry of P.2 and P.3 2008. Few infos is available on this last, with share which it will be lighter than its predecessor, to follow… This is from a article from downhill 911 and it shows a pic of this bike.
