Soo nice pic!! Full with lifelike colors...but the cut trees arnt making me happy..
STOP CUTIIN' TREES!!
STOP CUTIIN' TREES!!
why is it everyday i come on pinkbike theres an argument about the pod?
its photoshopped, its not photoshopped, it is photoshopped.
shut up! they chosen it as pod its a good picture.

My guess is the trees fell cause they died in the fire that looked to have burnt the area a few years back.
No need to get all pissy at loggers or hippies. Just nature having fun with us.

nato is probably right and the trees were mostly dead when cut. Even if they weren't you've got to admit that this is really responsible logging as most of the trees are still up and the ground hasn't been shredded.
HIRDIG, the trees arent actually cut. they just fell over from fire, canada gets season of "the burns" its natural and helps regenerate the forests... just for record
Exactly, here in Kelowna we had a brutal fire in 03 and then wind storms over the next few years knocked down most of what was left in lots of places. Looks like it was hit with a giant weed wacker.
After a fire, it helps the forest to regenerate..like you can see there is a lot of green on the ground, the nature is perfectly made.
actually northshhore ramps, buildings including the ones most bikes are made in, and most people's homes are made outa trees so these friggin tree huggers, who know trees need to be cut to make trails, need to ride their bike off a cliff... and die!
no way MTBMXpro-co2 you can see two mabey three stumps and a lot more trees have fallen plss you can easly see there fallen from a fire and the standing trees are burt defenently from a fire in kamloops all the trees atre like that from the fire in "05"

So good!!! Nice drop!!! Epic style... The contrast between the lightning green and the black burnt trees make the photo look so good.

wow, nice POD, i love the contrast. the contrast of the colours and the contrast of life.
wasnt there a POD in this forrest before?

Sorry, im not feeling it. Too saturated and the rider doesnt look like he is flowing, looks forced. Nice place though
reminds me of C&C
he is fine so long as he stays out of the tiberium hehe
its a great looking pic, and even tho the green is very pronounced, i know my monitor exaggerates it a bit aswell, personaly i would have liked to have seen the rider a bit closer tho

its a great pic but i think they went over the tob with the saturation and colour balance... buts thats from a photographers view.....
your a f*ckign idiot . ok this pic is dope and i bet oyu couldent do shit close to this ! haha and the trees look like this cuz of forest fire.
I really dig the colors in this picture. To bad the forest was destroyed by fire, it will regrow healthier. Wicked picture man!

Nice. Says you are from Nelson so I am going to guess that is where the pic was taken. Super green and lush there ladies and gentlemen. Nelson is right on the lake and in the heart of the mountains. As for the trees that if you look closely you can see that it is in an old forest fire area. Nice shot, great jump.
This isn't my pic today. Nice scenery (beautiful BC), but a little too green. Less saturation please. Better luck next time.

ya i must say this pic has least bad comments about it and i dont see what is so good. its not clear its not that nice a move. everyone just likes the pretty colors and big trees. i thought this was a biking site. not for picturs of the scenery. definately not pod material.
contrast and saturation are a bit high, could of zoomed in or croped it a little closer, would of looked better landscape if u want alot of trees and shubs and shit
overall a good picture
overall a good picture
looks to me like a fire ripped through there so it's all fresh plant life and im pretty sure the weather knocked the trees down and if they where cut it was due to it being a hazard
but again amazing picture

If you look closer, there was a wildfire that ripped through there awhile ago and forest is starting to regenerate. Those trees either hit the ground because of the fire or dropped by hand crews. See the black on the trees...

yea for the f*cking hippie at the top.....the trees wernt cut u f*cking downy, there was a forest fire. probably from a bunch of f*cking hippies sittin in a field and suckin eachothers testicals

mincer666 ure a dumb f*cking penis rash. those trees were cut down not that i care that much but just look at the stumps they are clean cut. i have worked in the forest industry for 6 years now cutting specific trees not clear cutting and all i have to say is ure a dumb f*cking ass wipe who doesn't know shit about what he is talking about. anyways nice pod!!!!

nice and jumpinmonkey it is photoshopped but not to the point of when it is hardcore the colors are just changed to make it look more crisp and nice almost all pictures you will see here are photoshopped a little bit... and HIRIG-MONSTER has a point he/she is not a hippy just like everyone else obvy ppl will get mad over the cut down trees because its wrecking our environment for nice technical riding.
