Go for 40s. 888s are well heavy, plus 40s look pimp on glorys

id go 888. 40's are a race bred fork which need regular attention and servicing whereas a 888 is a every day dh/freeride fork. i think that came out abit different from what i was trying to say but you probs no what im on about. id go 888 but 40's do look sweet on glory's

888s with require less maintenance, i find with fox 40s my friends are saying they have to take theirs apart constantly for repair.
I would go 888, theyre bomb proof.

i much prefer my 888wc to my mates 40 but its all down to personal opinion. try and have a ride on both which are well set up.
