front of the bike is a large the rear is a small, thats how sam likes it set up supposedly.

What do ya mean? Do you mean his front end height is that of a Large, but the rear cockpit clearance is that of a small?

I figured it out, all it is is he prefers short chainstays, not long ones like on a Flatline.

yeah except the length or size in general of the rear triangle is constant throughout all the sizes. only the front triangle differs
