that is ugly as hell... why so many companies are doing all those curvy shapes now? Specialized, Norco, Rocky mountaion, Kona... blaaah! Don't be a sheep! Don't go with the flow, create a new one!

The sheep are the ones that gravitate to "cool looking bikes," whereas real riders go for what works. The design is meant to lower the center of gravity and improve the handling. Beyond that, the VPS/FSR remains relatively unchanged...

Function over fashion or fad.

Lol i like 07's model six three they own these freeky girl bikes!! yikes man i think they need to go back to the o7 models they look stroger and i find seem to be stronger aswell
just cuz i got one but i think its a great look and they should of stayed but wut ever !!

I agree with comments above, but you can't knock it till you try it. BUT the price? what is this is a downhill rig? also this bike could have used better components for the total price!

Me sorry, but this top tube has nothing to do with any tech, it's just meant to be fancy. There is just more material comparing to the straighter tube. That would be quite stupid to lower the CG by adding material lower... why not then make a straight top tube and add some heavy stuff under bottom bracket?! F A N C Y it was meant to be indeed... not functional...
