Your used to heavily edited photos / HDR images which look incredibly unrealistic even if they are cool. This is an off the camera example of a perfect shot..
most of the "cool" ones arent heavily edited...maybe lightly for like colour balance and contrast and stuff...but the distortion is natural using a fisheye lens

To Jp406- Anything taken on a digital or 35mm camera is editted, you can ajust aperture, shutter speed, focus range, ect... even the auto modes ajust to find the best settings. The only natural images are those seen through your own eyes.

to jp406, that still doesn't mean it's unedited, i was just varying my words in a to say the same thing. All I'm saying is the camera itself edits the image so nothing we see on here is uneditted, photoshopped or not.
this seems quite pointless but...a picture is edited in a photo program, not by the camera, the camera takes the picture...stop trying to be philosophical u sound ignorant
Philosophy is the study of general problems involving topics such as knowledge, existence, truth, ect... How was I trying to be philosophical? And your calling me ignorant- your the one lacking in education or knowledge, maybe if you used an SLR camera you would realise there are loads of settings you can edit when and before taking the picture in order to achieve the best results like the photographer has done here.

Real epic, its a shame coz often brendan gets over shadowed by the legend...sam hill. He is doing seriously well and will be a world cup champ someday. Shots like this one are wiked, keep the up!

Not sure about this pod honestly. I'm not hating or anything, Hill is probs one of if not the best dh racer right now, but i find that the pic is like many other pics, normal. Its doesn't stand out and i think many other pics should of been POD before this one. Now don't start hating on me for my opinion please. I'm not saying its a bad pic, just not worthy of POD if you ask me.

This picture simply doesn't deserves to be POD. Below average skill with no better photo quality at all. Even worse are the "DH berm pods". I think most of the riders here would prefer DJ pods instead of this...shit.
I wonder if they use a 440FR hub that's painted white for their 12x150mm EX1750 wheelset applications...
