Any note on the weight? Must be really awkward with such a small amount of pedal underneath your shoe.

actually super light and more surface area than most pedals.the other guy behind the company is a world famous knifemaker. the things are superstong. actually being used by the #3 norba racer eli somethingoranother.

The mba mountain bike magazine says that there supposed to improve pedaling efficency because your pedal is closer to the axle or whatever, so less energy is lost.

Also, the closer you get to the center of the pedal's pivot point, the more stable it becomes. Your way less likely to "slip" the pedal. I'm more concerned about the inner bearing/bushing, since there is no outer bearing/bushing, that puts a lot of load on the inner one.

Though, if you look on the inside of the crank, there is a small bit of metal hanging off of the treads by the looks of it. this would probobally provide some relief be spreading the weight over a larger area.

Are these pedals going to be put into production for the public? How much would they cost?

there are actually 2 bearings, huge, sealed one inboard of the crankarm and one outboard on the pedal side
