Come on guy what is this? looking at the rider it's at least 20ft down, can't see how far out but that's a sick drop! Just cos he isn't on a Bottlerocket doing a flip-whip doesn't mean it's not a worthy POD, there should be more big mountain/freeride PODs (and that from someone whose never owned a full-sus).
Very true. Lately it seems that the pics have been more appealing to the 12 year olds who ride TRANS1TI0N B077L3R0CK3TZ for SL0P3STYL0RZZZ in WH1STL3RZ0RZ. We need more pics like this, as some pro whose name I forget once said: "Keep the mountain in mountain biking."
I believe that was Vanderham, and Amen to that... on a side note szczeki kicks ass, anyone who disagrees is living in their ignorant little dj world, caring more about color coordination and their emo pants.
picture wise.... I'm not a fan, but what he is riding is epic! Look at all the people above who are stupid/brave enough to comment on it being easy, or fun. Once u check out their albums and see what stuff they ride, this blows it out of proportion.
sometimes people confuse a photo of something good with a good photo. this is one of those pictures that captures something rad but is technically shit. poor perspective, poor composition, harsh light, poor colour. POD because of the drop, not the quality
its not a very big drop it looks just like hitting a normal step down. and i kno for saying this im not gettin any props but if u cant hit that then u need to drop a sack and learn how to ride a mtn. bike
thats a huge huck dude nice work but i personally dont think it should have POD because the photo quality isnt very good. (lighting, color, etc.) negative props here i come
Shut up norco125forlife, Jaws is a crazy mutherf*cker, all his PODs are mad, his VOD have been mad, his whole album is mad. Props to Jaws, one crazy f*ckin Polski.
And what the **** makes you the judge of that? Look at your own album... some spectacular dj's there I would love to see you hit a gap like this with style. I'm sorry to be such a jerk to you but some people enjoy seeing great photos of 'MOUNTAIN' biking. Obviously there are thousands of people like you who enjoy the same old pod every day... some guy tricking a dj, or a dude all decked out in moto gear 'pinning' a berm. Know that there are still a few of us who log on to pinkbike every day, hoping to find a pod that inspires us, this just happens to be my day. There are many different aspects of our sport, so share the ride. Just because 99% of pods fit into the dj/dh berm block, doesn't mean that final 1% has to as well. Once again, I'm sorry to have been such a prick, rarely do I even bother to comment on this bs but I feel the need to stand up for a great rider and photographer in this case. If you want to bring back the 'hucking requires no skill, just balls argument,' it's your loss, as it's so obviously pathetic.
^camas, i'd agree...but only if there were more bmx and/or street pics. everytime i come to check out the pod it is more than likely a dj pic of a mtb'er or some berm shot...ADD SOME VARIETY
Camas you dont have any "spectacular" pics your self there hot shot. Except those ones of you doing a boner air on those tiny djs and maybe some turn bars. haha and most POD's arent of people railing berms either moron. Keep your paragraphs to your self next time.
Ok sick dude ive read your essay now and dont be one to judge me saying "Not everyone on two wheels is like you" I promise you i know many many more people in this sport than you do and am a well known rider in the U.S and not once have i had this problem. Keep your thoughts to yourself or just think a little before you post something.
