Why? It takes longer, but it looks much cleaner. And it's easy, as long as you don't have a hellfire flu and mental retardation... Razz

My friend Dan had painted his spokes a different color from his hub this way, turned out really nice.

thats not the problem, just using used spokes and used hoops isn't always the best idea and its a lot of extra work for something that doesnt look any different and doesn't have any negative effect on the spokes or wheel.

I reuse spokes all the time...my next wheel will have the same spokes as the 3 wheels previous! LOL If you do it right, it looks A LOT cleaner. Looks kinda ghetto when you spray it laced up...
