you-dh4c3r- are a f*cking loser. stay off anything to do with anything i might be involved in. your opinions are collectively thoughtless. i am surrounded by real mountains and real riders and you are a shame to a province i used to live in. f*ck you, long live the real french.

He has the shifter on the frame, becasue now there is a hydro gyro, and he has one on that bike. So with the shifter mounted to the frame he picks the gear he will use for the course, then with that cable out of the way he has his hydro gyro and BAM never ending barspins and tailwhips. Single speed with range is the way to go. lol. Both him and semenuk have there hardtails and slopesyles set up this way!

yes that gets the gear cable out of the way but what about the back brake cable?

Like i said the hyraulic gyro, so for example you know gyro's on bmx bikes for cable brakes, well a few companys have enveted one for hyraulic brakes! So with his rear shift cable out of the way, his rear brake cable is on the hydraulic gyro, and his front brake cable is though his head set. making the whole bike compleately tangle free! The other way to do this is if you dont want your shifter on the frame, and dont want to spend the money for the gyro, all you need to do is put the front cable though the head set, then get extra long rear shifter, and brake cables. You route them both on one side of the frame, usually depending one what way you barspin or tailwhip, but also what trick you will do first. I run my slope style bike and dj bike this way right now, it works, but you need to remember how far your cables are wraped around so you can though a barspin to untangle them in the middle of a run..
