holy shit thats crazy! wuts the frame called?
yeah, another crazy idea from cannondale, but i dont really see a point in this, is it to save weight?
actually if you go to the news article and watch the video and read it the concept solves some interesting problems... Its a pretty cool idea

it cant be too heavy duty cuz he has a fox 32... not that theyre bad, thats my dream fork but it probs cant handle huge jumps and hucks
Uhh correct me if i'm mistaken but didn't kyle strait ride 32's at crankworx and other slopestyle comps? crankworx had the monster (the drink company) drop and the step down..thats beyond heavy duty dirtjumping.

Looks like it has a pivot just in front of the bottom bracket that allows the top tube of the frame to move towards the rear wheel when upwards pressure is applied.
Yea sorry, but its kinda obvious
, like u said seraph, it pivots infront of the bb, and acts like a normal shock

Yeah, it's a prototype street/DJ fully/
The shock you can see as the toptube is the shock from a headshok fork

its genious because you can have a full suspension that is gonna feel exactly like a hardtail in the air.. i dunno y noone thought of it b4 now

Its called the Chase Softtail, and it was made to act like a hardtail with shorter chainstays, and to have no seat buzz, but with having 3 inches of travel.
Sorry, i love cannondale and all their concepts but this is just useless, you can bottom out 3 inches when going over an ant, do you guys really think it helps? even on a super stiff suspension setting, 3 inches wouldn't do you any good when hitting a large jump, just flexes a bit and has more stuff to wreck, props to Chase though.
