Kona needs to put a DHX 3.0 on their stinkys, times have changed... they are cheaper and would make a nice adittion.

They did for one year. My 05 stinky came stock with a DHX 3.0 . For some reason thats the only year they put it on though. good point.

new stinkies work much way better than the old ones...
I rode Stinky 3004 for 3 years and had opportunity to ride my friends' 2006 and 2007 bikes as well

yeah,it's pity they stopped putting DHX 3 to Stinky
they wor much smoother than Van R...

i dont understand why the stinky, and stinky deluxe are so different, i dont like the normal stinky as much as the deluxe.

To fix the problem of the white, just trade fork and rockers with some guy or girl that has a Minky. And that's it

Stinky is worst, on equipment, in my opinion, the 2006 model came with a DHX3, but the more recent ones only bring that vanilla ! and there is one thing that I hate on all the stinkys, THEY DON'T HAVE CHAINGUIDE ! come on, that bike costs around the 1900$ (i think) it deserves a chainguide for that price

You need to read the article first. This is the Stinky SIX, it is meant to run 2 chain rings, that rest of the line up has e13 chain guides. As for price, sometimes companies have to down spec a bit to maintain good pricing. With the increase in costs to raw materials, you should be happy to see well spec'd bikes at this price point.

well if it's meant to run two rings for pedalling, why go back to putting the rocker link through the seat tube? It's totally a renamed coiler - I think that the "pedalling" version of the stinky have a full length seat tube... nice spec indeed, I'd take it and ride it with a knock-scoper though, ha...

I agree on that one, plus what's the point on putting a 1.5 steerer tube in a coiler with esteroids.
