No, they were dropping everything.
Now they recently bought the rights to use Ellsworths ICT (instant center tracking) suspension design, and will carry on making high end bikes.
What I want to know is: Is Mondraker the new DW link owning manufacturer, replacing Iron horse? The wheelpath looks very similar.

This isn't, but it seems like it was from this picture. In actual fact it is another floating shock design.
i agree! it may look like a sunday but its 87 times better looking than a sunday can ever dream of being
Made in Spain...hmm... good to see that... i was tired of watching that lable saying "Made in China"
Do you really think they're made in Spain? Maybe the prototype, but even then.. Even 3 years ago Mondraker was just a catalog frames brand, selling rebranded taiwanese Astro frames, and even today i believe they've only created 3 or 4 frames being the rest of their line up frames from Astro the same that are in every other small brand trough small countries in Europe.
Holy micro cassette! Freakin' sick bike! Apparently the frame weighs 8lbs
. I really hope this will be in production for 09, but I doubt it will be that soon. Expect to see Fabian Barel riding one of these beauties in Canberra and Schladming
If Nicolai is the Maybach of bikes, then they must handle very sluggishly and have very poor acceleration. I think a better example would have been "the Lamborghini of bikes" or something equally performance-oriented.
performance is just normal.. its nothing incredible or special
but the frame and build quality and 'uniqueness' is whats special about nicolai
