Some much cooler to see someone hipping of the side of it, than rolling slowly to the top and dead sailor-ing it.

I've never hit the big part. If you go a decent speed off you clear way too far down. Yeah, it's a bigger drop, but this way you can hit it as fast as you want, and, most importantly for a picture, it looks a thousand times sicker. I'm sure this guy can hit the "big" side...

anyone can hit the big side if they wanna go slow and possibly ruin racing parts, it takes more skill and style to 'wallride' the side of the rock like this guy and its a hell of a lot more fun

any way you hit it, its fun, or slightly scary if you hit the big part, sick pic!!!

yeah, hitting the big part is retarded. You land flat and then are not lined up for the next gap. cool for a photo I suppose, foolish otherwise

I love this pic with one exception.. the lack of lighting on the rider. Is it possible for you to illuminate him without over saturation of the rock. Perhaps a remote flash in tree? I would love to have the opportunity to shoot whistler.

i always wondered if that part of the rock was hitable cause i always go off on the left there by the flags
thats awesome cause it makes it way bigger of a drop
