exactly, plus some associations that run DH have rules saying helmets must have visors, so idiots don't show up with road bike helmets.
I'm not sure whats funnier, that whole thing in general, or that he thinks its giving him an advantage.
To answer your questions p2cromoboy, yes it does work, given that the track is wide open and the rider is going fast enough that the wind caught under the visor would slow you down.

He done it for a laugh and YES on a course like moelfre he said it did actually work, he finished a very close second after all. (that was a race run)

seen it in dirt, some think new but same as what jpilot sames why dont other pro riders do it. one other gay things, and the visor there to save ya nose when crash, i snap so may visor but they saved me,they brake before my hemet and head does,
