Well yes it is, however, I simply edited the contrast and colour by combining 5 exposures into one. I will be posted a none photoshop version tonight or tomorrow.

Yeah someone QUICK! photochop in a rider

Im pretty sure thats multipule exposures combined....theres no way you could get that contrast even with a D1 and a L lens.

It was Multiple exposure, no camera offers that much dynamic range from one shot.

Pentax k10D with DA* 16-50mm F2.8, 3 different exposure 3 different times, each set of 3 exposures was combined into one HDR, then those three images were combined by using photomerge in CS3
