but hey, if you put the 732 big block that have 1540 hp in any chevy or pontiac...it will for sure EAT your little 540, and i know what im talking about. if i go to any 1/4 mile dragway, everyone will tell me that chevy can go bigger, and are for sure good quality motor. also, any drivers thare will probably have a chevy motor, even if its a ford(mustang)
lol your funny, if you look at the 426 hemi,it pushes out 425hp stalk..... you look at the 340 small block,it was eating up big blocks....also,if you take the 540 hemi supercharged crate engine that has 900+ hp and put it in a light little mopar like a dodge dart,you got one hell of a chevy pusher...

but hey, my father lives in this muscle car generation and he had a 68 firebird, 400 big block with 425hp, and he told me that mopar were pretty fast, the 340 6 pack was a smal block bulldog, but my father was faster, and he told me that there were also good qualitys block. lots of his friends had problems with ford.but all i say is that chevy can go bigger than mopars
1540hp in a stalk car will tare it apart....im talking stalk...also i dont think the 732 big block comes with 1540hp from gm....and the engines im talking about have nothing done to them except for the 540,if you take the 426,put a blower,nos,the hole shabang, it will push allot... you take the 340,it was designed for nascar...they might have a gm engine in a mustang but not in a dodge that is for sure,how much torque is your little 732 pushing? in the end,it all comes down to a lighter car no matter what hp you got,if you got your 732 in a nova and you get a 540 in a 1970 A body dodge or Plymouth,its going to give it a challenge
first of all, im not jocking and i made a mistake, it is the 760. the 760 really have 1540hp. and if you know the chevy 427BB, its a really good motor, a guy from here with a 68 camaro street car have it,and he push 750hp, with out blower, nos,... for small block, 340 is one of the better or THE better cuz i know that the 6 packis from hell. a guy from here had a cudawith this motor, 500hp, and it ws fast.

its funny because i had a ride in a 68 camaro(like the photo) and this car had a 427 big block 427 with 600hp. that was the best ride of my life.chevys sound so nice and ride si nice...i just love them
to know if its a 67 or 68, you have to look at the rear side of the car, if there is a little light.if its there, its a 68. this is the most evident identification thing
