whoa what is going on here...
Waste of a bike. That would probably be such a seriously nice bike if it didn't look like it had a broken frame. That bike would be do dialled if it were just a normal dirt/street frame with the same colors and parts.
so you can hide it in your closet so mommy doesn't know you've been a naughty lil biker lol, genious design, i'd like to test it, durability, performance, comfort...lol, i seen this idea on comuter bikes but the idea for DJ is sweet
It looks as if the left brake lever is used to keep the bike straight when your not going for a crazy 90degre turn, am I right?
i saw one of these at whistler probably not made by the same guy but it can turn really sharp and go in really small circles
i think the other lever brakes in the pivot, so it stops it turning, or the other way around
i dont know
i dont know
I saw that guy in Whistler and talked to the guy and its a cool concept but then I saw him again and it was broken lol
hahaha, i really dont see the point in that tbh. who needs to turn crazy fast when they're dirt jumping? surely a high speed turn that tight would just throw you off?

I thought the frame snapped at first before I clicked on it. Even looking at it, I can't imagine how it works
Someone needs to dirt jump that. Imagine the whip you could get going with the folding frame!
That is one of the coolest things ever, too bad it has Deity parts.

It looks like the front brake lever is attatched to an actuator of some sort that then pulls on the brake caliper that's located in the middle of the frame, disengaging the lock that hold the front and rear triangles together. I guess that's good or something.
That is an awesome design. It looks like he can engage/disengage the rear triangle. That is very unique on a swing bike and the best design I've ever seen. They are impossible to ride if you are standing up so that fixes the problem.
It's not a waste. I don't really understand the bike myself, but if someone has the time and has made the effort to creat e something new, then why knock it. It's more than I (and prob most other people on PinkBike) have done for the MTB scene.
i saw that guy with the bike at crankworx on the slopestyle day. he was riding by and it looked so smooth and sick, but i guess it would be kinda hard to get used to
gomess ur a tard its a picture of a bike dont get all spazy and have a %^*%^&*%^* and plus how the %^%^&&* could he photo shop that
Its his first proto... so its probably not perfect yet. Don't knock on the guy though; he had a cool idea and he built it. You haven't ridden it and neither of I. So lets leave the critizing to people who ride it.

i saw him in the whistler hospital and at fist i thought he snapped it then he rode it around its nuts
its shit. i saw that stupid bike in whistler during c worx and i made the mistake of saying wtf? and the guy talked my ear off about it. he was so stoekd about how well it "railed" berms, but seeing him ride it he just seemd to release the rotor and kind of -ride beside himself- im not a hater, i love creativity and original ideas, but its just a dumb bike. i saw a kona bike like this a long time ago.
do you remember his name? or the bike company?
or what this bike was called?
its weird and i wanna learn more.

yeah, the disc is there to keep the frame from going from one direction to another! I saw the guy riding the bike in one of the crankworx video.. just don't remember which one it is!

i say he gives me the parts and keeps the frame cuz i would not take that frame if someone gave it to me on the street

the left break lever is a cable mechanical lever the little cylender makes it so he can use a cable lever hook up to this thing and run a hydrolic break

dosent look very strong tho. and they already have bikes that do that. just no froks on em.
looks sick tho
looks sick tho
that design is amazing. so i'm guessing the rear wheel is able to pivot of the frame along with the crank set and where you turn it? oh my god! switchbacks would become a dream
How is that supposed to work? he should of kept his frame normal and turned it into a dj bike instead of ruining a bike
[Reply]
haha the only thing that would make it more stupid would be him trying to put rear suspension on it on top of all that

OMG Ratts!!! your f*ckin brilliant- "own one just for fun." Another machine to ride. DUH HATERS!!!! That is all this is for. More creative expression in your riding. Three of Whistler's trail builders agreed with you- saying "looks like fun!". As they saw it in action on upper No Joke.
YYYOOO
i saw that guy's bike in whistler he did the glc on it its so sick!!!!
its a hardtail and he was gdoing whistler downhill on it
BIG PROPS TO THIS GUY

Yo I posted some of my pictures of the bike on my profile. Also Huckleberry has a YouTube channel in the works which will showcase some of the footage from Whistler last year, and also footage of our new lowrider called the SicLow. I don't think people realize that i rode this bike on a lot the knarliest lines in the park quite successfully and with flow including Captian Safety, Clown Shoes, Dirt Merchant, kinked wall rides, kinked step ups, kinked nose wheelies, etc on first gen prototype, and not to mention it is a hard tail that pivots in the middle. I passed a lot of people on DH bikes.

i'm sorry if someone has already said this...i only took the time to read about half the posts because most of them were "omfg!!?! is it totally like supposed to be like thayt?!?! :O!!"
but am i the only one that thinks that bike is SCREAMING gimmick?? if we get to see it in action and it's better than a normal frame then i will eat my words...but seriously...right now it just looks ridiculous.

lol a few weeks ago i saw a kid riding the skatepark on a crappyer version of that bike and when he tried the jump box the pivot bit fully snapped and the dude faceplanted, it was the funniest thing ive ever seen, but that one looks like poo and it would probly weigh heaps by the looks of it

its called a swing bike. there are alot of those made out of road bikes but thats the first mtb ive seen. those things are soooooo much fun to ride on the street
