you said it i dont know why you got negative props but i probly am going to. the 09 team dh is amazing the people at norco SEXIFIED it!
It looks like if the first drop you'll hit, it's gonna break in two halves. And the Blue Boxxer.....really not impressed. It would look much better if the Boxxer was polished with blue stickers.

ya it looks really ugly...the components and shit and colors work well..but the frame looks like shit.. the one thing i dont' like is how i could probably climb through the middle of the frame!
LOVE the rims, chainguide, pedals and air-shock, and the blue with the crome is pretty sweet, but the frame is DISGUSTING
i just bought a norco for freeride, thats what norcos are good at, and that, that is just hideous, would you really want to be seen on that ripping up your local trial.. i dont think so

the Team DHs never had straight tubes. This year's tubes seem totally overdone, but the curve on the down tube allows for a lower front end while still allowing for tire clearance at max fork compression. Still seems hard to compare to the amazing 06 version DH though. 'Best Ever' or not, this model will always look like a dainty AM bike.
I didn't say Norco ever had straight tubes. I said everyone is obsessed with curved tubes for 2009, and I think it's overdone. At least Santa Cruz stopped making the Jackal with that horrible top tube hump.
No, that's what made the frame super heavy and painfully annoying when you bashed your knees on the cable guides mounted on the sides of the top tube hump. I speak from experience.

well, high models of Wellgo pedals are very good (for example MG series - ergonomic, heavy duty and really lightweight), but this frame and colourset is just shitty 
forks look disgusting, not a huge fan of the air shock either for DH.. Any not how much its going to cost?

I've ridden Norco's all my life, I got an 08 aline because the 09 looks stupid, the angled shox was a trade mark for there bikes since they started, now they've lost a good thing.
tthats so sick, you people are lame and only like boring bikes. whats wrong with changing things up> i think its awesome to have flowy frames and crazy colour schemes. everything else was getting so bland and boring. prop sto norco for taking a chance!

their frame geometry is one of a kind, as a result of all the hydro-formed tubing. the down tube looks as if its one piece, from the head tube to the rear dropouts. at the end of the day - very cool and unique bike.

the only thing worth buying on that bike would be the chain guide and thats not saying to much for norcos best downhill bike
On the contrary, everything on the bike looks good except for the frame and rims. How can you argue with Saint cranks and an X.0 derailleur?

Everyone's so fixated on looks... bah, you're probably not very attractive yourselves people, and I may get negative props for saying this but I don't care. LOOKS-AREN'T-EVERYTHING. Ride it, a DH bike 37.5 LBS out of the box??? For a DH BIKE? SICK. SWEET. I WANT.
37.5 isnt jaw droppingly light tho and not a big enough reason to buy this frame its not a big enough excuse and cant save itself on these looks, let alone the price go session 88, orange etc if u wnt lighter, better looking and same price or cheaper!!
