the chain runs in a sealed oil bath in the swingarm, and yes, as said abouve, it uses an internal gear box.

Wouldn't really want to ride left foot forward on that. Might slice your right foot off in the unguarded spokes. Lol.

flag rigodon777 (Oct 26, 2008 at 9:03)
I don't know why people gave you negative props because it IS home made. By the millyard Family, and he not planning on only doing this bike for his son, This is actually the second one, the first one didn't have the single-sided swingarm! It even has a tank suspension.. kind of!Razz

i know this is probably going to get negative props...but if you look at the rear shock and look at the angle of the body on the right and then the angle of the stroke on the left the shock looks bent...the stroke looks like it is bent downwards or something, might also be a reason why the pedal is covering most of it so we dont see that its bent ? most bike photos have the cranks at 50/50 so you can see everything

flag dicka2k8 (Nov 21, 2008 at 7:37)

but how often are you gona have to replace the fubar'd rear wheel bearings? ...every run..
  • + 1
flag joedaho (May 24, 2009 at 21:24)
Fair point, but there are more benefits to the design than drawbacks IMO, and even then, have you seen inside the hub to be able to comment on their longievity? I know I havn't.
