his front wheel would not be ovalised that way from the angle the photo is taken, it would be wider than than it is high - perhaps it's a resultant effect of the camera capturing such motion, but I largely suspect this photo has been manipulated with the 'stretch image' function a little... could be wrong though - the lighting on the rider comes from the lights below him btw.
