flag bweger1234 (Jun 23, 2010 at 14:25)
Rainbowmilk, if you took 2 seconds to look at another picture in the album, you would notice very quickly that it is obviously not a dent, considering that the frame has it on BOTH SIDES. http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/2613028/

Also, consider that its a small batch custom Ti frame company with probably less than 100-200 frames made, this would allow each and every bike to be slightly different. Dobermann also has slight differences in their hardtails if you look at several next to each other. Its a way for small bike companies to product test to the riding market.

thats one gnarly dent, how did you get it?
  • + 2
flag seraph (Feb 23, 2010 at 19:47)
I believe that it is not a dent, rather a purposeful bend in the chainstay in order to allow for crank arm clearance.
  • + 1
flag bikerado3 (Mar 9, 2010 at 16:29)
it's a dent mate bmx's hardly ever have liek dents there for clerence always near to the sprocket
  • + 1
flag seraph (Mar 9, 2010 at 17:02)
Interesting theory, because I've seen a lot of BMX frames that have that bend in the chainstay to allow for crank arm clearance.
  • + 1
flag bikerado3 (Mar 13, 2010 at 8:46)
well i havent and bmx frames are shaped so you dont need no clearence
  • + 2
flag seraph (Mar 13, 2010 at 9:01)
You can't shape titanium like you can steel, sometimes you need to make modifications to allow clearance.

flag rainbowmilk (Mar 14, 2010 at 19:40)
buddy, its a dent, its okay to admit you are wrong. if its a strawberry Ti then it should NOT have a dent see

It's not a dent, it's a part of the frame designed to increase crank arm clearance while maintaining a good Q-factor.

Its a dent jackass. Find any other picture of this frame and it will not have it. Some people are just f*cking plain retarded to say or even to believe that.
  • + 4
flag seraph (Feb 18, 2010 at 18:58)
Why? Tons of frames have a shaped chainstays to increase crank clearance. Sounds like you need to maybe cut back on the sugars in your diet and calm down.
