maybe in Illinois it's a DH bike. Out here that is a freeride.

Dude, this thing has single crowns and only has 6inches of travel in the rear its not built for dh racing. Not to mention the geometry is freeride oriented.

idk i want to get something with nothing over 6 of travel and there isnt dh out here at all i dont know what kinda frame i should get

Something like a Santa Cruz Nomad or a Trek Remedy are probably ideal for what u wanna do. Look into "all mountain"

the bike is practically brand new, and it comes with a second wheelset, I dont think the price is too high but im always open to offers.
