hey, im getting this frame tomorrow (different colour) and was wondering, what length shock have you got on mate and how much travel do you get out of it?
and do you know how much the frame weighs aswell please mate?

are you getting an ordinary scott nitrous or a nitrous slopestyle because if you are getting a ordinary nitrous you could not ruin it like this. if though you are getting the slopestyle one you could run it as i am which is with a 190mm i2i monarch with a shock stroke of 50 which gives 149mm of rear travel

no its the slopestyle version, but im thinkin if i put a 216mm by 63mm rockshox vivid it would be about 180mm but would the frame work with that length shok?

that would definitely increase the bb hight a lot and would make the bike be terrible at handling i definately would not do that it would ruin the bike as the bike is deigned for the a 190mm by 50mm rear shock and a 160mm front fork
