hey jptothetree you are dick, you know why, cos you have never ridden a mongoose, i owned one mongoose xc bike which wasnt the best and i started riding with that biek, i did some 2 meter drops, rode rough tracks, did dirt jumps on it, i have thrown it down from 2nd floor cos i was mad , but this bike is still in mint condition, nothing has snapped, no problems with it, its now my xc bike, i think many downhill bikes wouldnt handle all that shit that i have done to my mongoose, so if that bike could handle it than boot'r has to be super strong and reliable, so dont f*ck with good brand , it was the same when there were rumours about Sam Hill being on specialized, at start everyone said that specialized sux, its shit etc. but now when Hill is officially on demo than everyone is talking about DEMOS like they were best bikes for downhill ever to be made, dont be brand slave you cock and dont talk shit about bike that you have never ridden with and probalbly you never will cos youre bom and you wont be able to buy that,

just because you had a good experience with your mongoose doesn't mean they are a good manufacturer: the exception doesn't make the rule. i know a lot of people who've had nothing but trouble with their mongoose frames. they make shit bikes for kids like you who want to ride but don't want to pay for quality. all i'm saying is people need to stop being so NOW NOW NOW and save up and get good stuff (like specialized, scott, rocky mountain, cannondale, etc).

... That thing destroyed Mongoose reputation, but here in Brazil we can buy, shit Gts, SCOTTS, and C-dale for less than 60 dollars... so because of the falsification the GT brand doesn't send their bikes to brazil...and the Stinky is the cheapest bike here almost 4 thousand dollars
