i would honestly go with Argyle 409, in green. probably be better than 2007 DJ3 or Dj2,

flag kyle7 (Dec 2, 2008 at 18:25)
thats a dj1 and its 07 so its equivalent to an argyle 409 maybe even better, the 07 dj1s were really good in 07

really? i don't know, i like the argyles, i wish i would have been smarter when i was buying my forks, would have got some 318 instead of DJ2...

I actualy am using the 2007 DJ1 in my bike, i dont think it is the best about weigth but it is the only dirt jump fork that has rebound and compression ajustments...The only problem of it i think is that it makes too much noise!.... its not quiet when pumped.....I've never used any rockshox but i'm shure that if i sell my DJ1 and buy a fork it'll be a PIKE....

you dont need 729 and 721 rims, you can have like ex721 in the back and xm719 in the front, Wink

i would say no to the bmx cranks
and pick the same rims
but neither or those they are really heavy
look at 719s they are are pimp
but everything else is pimp
oh and that fork is like 7 pounds try an argyle or fox

i would go with 2 719s they are really light
the 721 is a very nice DH rim

36 is overkill on a jump bike
and i dont know the weight il get back to u with it

flag joaopini (Dec 4, 2008 at 5:19)
thanks....xD....I was thinking 36 just because it is about 5gr heavier and would give me less trouble with the 3's....

butted is the diameter and alpine 3 change the diameter 3 times
double butted only changes twice

flag joaopini (Dec 9, 2008 at 11:52)
ah, thanks....what double butted you'd recomend? Why would u prefer them then triple butted?
