are they gunna keep it red or paint it green? Too many racers have red and white frames in my opinion anyways, not saying I don't think it looks sick there are just too many!!

After all ... IH Sunday was (still is) typical, awsome, etc... racing frame, while demo is .... sth like a hucking frame.... freeride frame... that was the biggest mess when Sam was moving to Spec. ... what bike will he be ridin' as Spec. does not have ANY typical race frame.... I would rather like to see him on sth like a Turner, V10, Session 8 .... he is the fastest man on the planet... but it's all about the money... Spec. is the richest bike company on earth... they just BOUGHT him !! I hope that getting worser frame will not affect his riding !

I personally think that it's about promoting demo's. When he was riding for IH, they started to sell tons of Sunday's all over the globe, almost everyone wanted to be like Sam, or at least have a bike like him and keep tryin to be the best. Now, Spec. wants to do the same with Demo's. My opinion is that they are thinking, that for such skilled rider it makes no difference what frame is he ridin', just take a look on Steve Peat, when he was riding for Orange - he was winning, now he is riding for SC... he keeps wining.

Yeah, Your right motomysz. Demo is rather freeride than dh/race frame, but its still awesome and it shouldn't slow down Sam. I personally belive that if he wants to be callled "the fastest man on the planet" as You said, and most skilled, ha has to be good on different bikes, not only IH and sunday. However i think that Sam is very overrated... he is very good... but he isn't god like many ppl thinks. He also do mistakes. Gee was faster this year.
Its anoying when ppl are talking: oh poor Sam, spec bought him and gave him this crapy demo, now he wont won all because of spec.

I think that he is not overrated...at Val di Sole video you can hear how commentators are screamin "LOOOOOOOK at the time !!".. more than 6,5 sec advantage at 3/4 of the track ... this is unbeliveble !! Yes, he crashed and Gee wons ... but Gee wasn't faster. It was simmilar to situation in Champery, he loses with Peat by only 1,6 sec... but Peat was riding this EXTREMLY hard trail in perfct conditions while Sam was riding it after havay storm when it was still raining.
I know that crashing is not an excuse... and I'm not excusing his result. But you have to say, that Gee wons, but Sam was fastest.
