HIs statement may have been childish and even stupid, but it is definitely not racist. He was attempting to make fun of them based on their country of residence, not the color of skin. There is a big difference between the two. I guess you really are "almost wise."
Actualy, racism isn't necessarily about the colour of a persons skin. if you are being raist, it means you are being prejudiced against a paticular race. It doesnt have to have anything to do with skin colour. If i were to call you a dumb American, i could be seen to be making a sweeping statement about all Americans, this would make me a racist. Luckily, this is not what i think. I think that you are the minority and that the vast majority of people are sound, whatever their country of origin, colour, religon, etc etc. None of this crap really matters anyway. As a fellow American, We would like to export GPMOTO as he's part of the problem here in the states. I swear the people in Colorado don't get enough oxygen to really comprehend some things. And for an American to step into 2 countrymen's discussion is worth it alone.
If two people are from the same country, but have different genetic backgrounds, different religions and speak different languages are they still be part of the same race? If they are, well then I guess I have no clue what the definition of "race" is. I didn't know it was so easily interchangeable with the word "nationality." But I also didn't realize color was supposed to be spelled with the letter u in it either.

Actually "Colour" is the correct spelling seeing that the American way of spelling is just a version of Old English which has lost some details along the way. But who cares about race? Biking should unite people, not start silly arguements. When I'm on my bike, I don't care who I'm riding with, all I care for is having fun.
