does the shock make it have more travel ?

it could, depends on the shock's stroke

it sure as hell is gona fcuk up the geo.

if the i2i length is the same as the original, but the stroke is longer then the geo doesn't change, just the travel gets bumped up a little bit.

im pretty sure the i2i length is to large, thats what i was talking about, and if the stroke was longer, you would get more suspension if their was enough clearence wen it was fully compressed, but the set up of the shock would be a pain and yes the geo wouldnt be all that great cause having a larger stroke would mean a larger sag, and at full compression the bike wouldn't sit as well as it would with its suggested i2i shock length. so itd feel funny going threw full compression throwing off its intended geo.. the regular high of the bike b4 load would be the same, but the geo riding the bike going threw its travel would be way off.

I'll agree to that, no problems. I just switched out my stock shock on my parker for a coil shock with the same i2i length as original, but has a stroke that is 1/4 inch longer, and the geo doesn't change, as for sag, well you set up your shock for the proper sag anyway, and my parker just gained more travel, and it feels much better ride now, got about 4.5 rear travel now, just an amazing bike to ride, feels so good. I've been a mechanic for over 15 years, and I know my suspension, and angles, and what to do about it, and not affect the bike negatively.
