US doesnt have free health care simply because they cant afford it . there are roughly 100 times more people there then in canada , and on top off that they are paying trillions on war .
im not being rude here , im just stating what the facts is , and its that us would have free healthcare and other better stuff if they minded their own bussiness a little bit better then they do.

lol @ Cata1yst you obviously don't know what you're talking about, have you ever ventured out side of the USA and gone to a poor little country like africa, or all over europe? No, you have no f*cking clue what there is. Today, i could be going to one of the best ski resorts in the world and boarding some of the best pow all day, in the scenic, and very beautiful Whistler. Then after, go to the bar at my age of 19, and meet sooo many hotter babes then i would meet in the US. we would drink some nice strong, 8% lucky high 8, not that piss you guys have in the US you like to call beer. Then i will wake up in the morning, and not ditch my woman, (cause i'm not an American condescending ass) instead we'll make some pancakes and go back out skiing. I'll save the summers for riding whistler on my bike all day long then going to rainbow beach after to cool off, and meet some whistler babes. Canada kicks ass, Europe is pretty sweet too.

lets be honest guys, both countries have their upsides and downsides. personally i'd choose canada. i'v been to both countries on more than one occasion and prefer the lifestyle in canada but thats probably because its more like what i'm used to in europe. although sun and warmth in winter sounds good!! i only have one thing that i can think of that is better in europe than canada and america....the drink age Big Grin

i was never bashing canada like ive stated multipule times... his ignorant ass is what got me going.... he was using stereotypes that as we know hold little value.
Like if i was to be like him and think that all canadians played hockey, or all the english lived some fancy, high roller lifestyle with expensive wine. I know thats not all true, but thats EXACLY what hes doing. labeling all of us in the states with his ridiculous stereotypes.

but if you'd really like to lets compare the ups and downs of canada..... first off , we have jobs, our beer is better, your house is likely built with canadian lumber, when you wake up in the morning and eat your toast , it was likely made with canadian wheat, we dont have most of the worls hating us , and we dont put american flags on our bags and clothes when we travel to avoid from people hating us or attacking us, if you know what im getting at ...... now you go ahead and say what you thing is better in the usa??

Ive met cool canadians, ive met cool people in the states. Ive met some a*sholes from canada. Ive met some a*sholes from the states. Sometimes our goverment gets too antsy and is full of bullshit. IM NOT COMPARING CANADA TO THE US.

brandyn16- i don't know where you live, but i pay about 30% in taxes off my paycheck, and then i pay 15% on everything i buy (even more on some things) . it's a fact that in canada, we pay over 50% of our income in taxes. americans would revolt if they had to pay that!! we just bend over and take it in the ass every time they raise taxes on one thing or another, and then we tell ourselves that it's ok, cuz we live in the best country in the world. we do have free healthcare, and thank god for that...i seem to use it fairly often...but we pay through the nose for it. we are one of the highest taxed countries in the world. oh...and by the way...there are 10 times more americans than there are canadians, not 100 times. if you're gonna be a pompus ass, at least get your facts straight. you say they have more a*sholes than we do. maybe in sheer numbers, but on a per capita basis we're probably even. all that being said, i do think canada AND the states are probably the best countries in the world. but for different reasons. now...can't we all just get along?? sorry, you are right, 100 is incorrect, i pressed 0 twice on accident... dont base your attack on me on one little mistake i made. and about the a*sholes thing, i clearly said that it was because they have more citizens then us . there is more alchohol in a tall can of beer, then a regualr can, but its still 5% by volume (in canada anyways) . so you didnt say anything different then what i already said .

i realise that the UK has more a*sholes than canada and the US put together probably but for some reason it never seems to appear in arguements like this on PB. o and replying to the guy further up. in some parts of europe you re allowed to drink at 14. in the UK its 16 in your own home but somebody else has to buy it for you. then at 18 its all legal...

Our judicial system is so clogged with frivolous law suits It's ridiculous...example: a dumb c*nt was awarded an ass load of money from mcdonalds because she spilled hot coffee on her lap and was burned, she won because the cup didn't have a warning that the coffee was hot!!

canadians are jumping on the "sue for anything" bandwagon, but we're nowhere near the way the americans are. as far as letting 14 year olds drink, that's insane, even 16 is nuts. i think canada has found a proper balance at 19. you're practically an adult then anyway.

i do agree with crowe on the sue for anything thing . i find it ridiculous that some guy can come onto your property to steal your car, and slip on ice and sue you. or if you shoot someone in your breaking into your house, your a murderer. even if you just drop him with a good punch . he can get you for assault . It would be bad if everybody started shotoing the mailman for trespassing , but we need to be able to protect our selves, families , and things

may i remind crowe and phacue2, that yous were also at one time 15 . odds are that atleast one of the two of you got stoned atleast once during your teen years, and you both prolly had a few drinks from time to time . me, i dont smoke dope, or smoke at all , but do like to have a few beers once in a while with friends . i dont get totaly wasted , nor do i do it every weekend, but that dont matter . tell me, law aside, what is the difference between drinking the day before your 19th birthday , and the day you turn 19??? nothing. we cant have kids running around being alchocolics, but thats not even realistic . drink at 15 is only as bad as somebody decided to say it was , and made it a rule . it doesnt hurt anybody anymore then it would someone who is 19 or 69.

The Muslim population in Africa represents about 65% of all the African people. AIDS kills some 6,000 people each day in Africa, which amounts to more deaths than caused by wars, famines and floods. Africa is home to 70% of the adults and 80% of the children living with HIV in the world. The estimated number of newly infected adults and children in Africa reached 3.5 million at the end of 2001. It has also been estimated that 28.5 million adults and children were living with HIV/AIDS in Africa by the end of the year. AIDS deaths totaled 3 million globally in 2001, and of that total, 2.2 million AIDS deaths occurred in Africa alone.
