POD??? Yeah POD!!
sik POD he must of been flying to kick all that dust up
this is actually a good pod compared to some recently may not be some guy going huge but at least its a good picture with a good rider great colour contrast aswell

im sorry but judging from his posture it looks like hes just skidded making all that dust and then hes basically stopped going into the berm
Exactly, He's outside of the burm completely. just look at his front wheel, Its turned too much instead of railing, so he is most likely going SLOW, and he probably just skidded to kick up that dust. Also, Its really not worth pod, mainly because anyone can use a back break to skid up some dust and then not lean into a turn.
to owengd97b & suicide downhiller he is in between two berms you f*cknuggets and is turning in to the second one. sick pic, definitely worth POD
as the photographer, i can tell you that he was not skidding. hes up that high on the outside so that he can cut off the next berm.. TO GO FASTER!

nice pic, looks like hes shreddin, remember the good-ol-days, ya know, when there was'nt two feet of snow on the ground? Wow, i'm eager as a canadian beaver to ride.
yeah the last couple pod's where of guys doing huge jumps and gaps but these are just as great. It shows that we arent all about big drops and stuff. Sweet one of my favorites!

great photo.... but... not POD!
If you look closely the rider has the rear brake slammed and the front tires is overshooting the next berm, still a good photo, but I don't think the rider is doing anything amazing in this one.
no i dont. i have nothing on the brakes. i keep my fingers on them in case i need em.... look closely. you can go look at the rest of the album
if this was taken in tahoe, you don't even have to brake to send dust and dirt flying like that- it's soooo loose and dry out there. especially on northstar's dh runs.
yeah, but knowing the conditions in tahoe in the summer, and looking at the pics in his album, that is a low, fast berm. so it is very possible to enter a berm like that at speed and w/ little effort throw some dirt around. just because he has his fingers on the lever, ready to brake, it doesn't mean he did. riding berms well does take some skill, regardless of how much, if at all, you brake.

why is this pod?? he obviously screwed-up and skidded going into a very small berm and knocked some dirt up. at first glance it looks alright, but if you really look at it, you can see it's not pod worthy.

pod is starting to suck two years ago this would not even be close to make the cut pod needs to get better

my guess is that all the dust is because he was on his brakes because he is going into the corner to high, just an observation, I could very well be wrong, but look where he is if he has speed I don't think that he made that corner.
i made both of them. the dirt up in tahoe is like silt, no matter what you do you get some dust flying
