 Buddy of mine has a drill press. He matched up the cog to a rotor, marked the 6 hole. Then he had to heat it up to be able to drill through the hardened steel. I pulled out the regular QR front axel and put in a rear solid axel, with some extra spacers and lock-cones. voila!

 simple enough, rly good use for an old QR front hub you have laying around.

 well I used a new hub, but you just can't beat shimano hubs for reliability.
