I wonder if they get like special passes for free to ride the trails or something.
I think they should out of genorousity and support.

No special passes, all the fourcross riders are just riders like everyone. In fact not all fourcross riders are disabled. The sport is open to all. I even raced against Hollywood Mike Miranda at Woodward West once. One thing the disabled riders do get is kick ass parking. At Whistler we get to park at the end of the road by the Westin. If you see Stacy in his mini-van chillin out next next summer be sure to drop by and tell him Eric says hi.
This four cross machine is awesome. I would love to take one of those down an EASY trail. I can't imagine jumping one. Props to those who do.
Just for people who dont know four-wheels- is referring to Stacy Kohut. He was featured in Decline whipping one of these things during Crankworks.
If they made a version with 2" wider axles and a frame where you could part your legs and have them a little more infront of you.. the'd sell thousands!!! Pure gravity quad bike
and i'd love to see what Foes could dream up using big travell and 4 wheels!

is there two levers for each hand? cause it would be easier to have a y-splitter going from two brakes to one lever - simpler and lower weight - though if your not pedalling up a hill it wont make much difference (and no i am not discriminating with that statement
i met a guy this summer in pemberton just outside of whistler and he makes these himself, they have to put to brake levers on because the master cylinder in them isnt powerful enough to stop all 4 brakes.
if you look closely though it isn't actually individual braking, there are individual lever bodies but there's a custom lever that works both at once.

the rear wheels placement is similar to a wheelchair. so you push the wheel unless your going downhill
i want one. just to screw around with. its for people who cant move their legs. 12 inches of travel front and rear. fox van-r shocks. it would be soo fun.
dude, most people who ride these things are paralyzed, you know, they cant move their legs, so thats why they use these things.

when i was at whistler he was there. saw him. he was shredding almost as fast as some bikers. literally. hes amazing.
yeh its for pplz with disabilities. saw one at whistler last week, looks pretty damn sick, but i think it takes a lot of skill to use it, specially on burms and the table tops
