nicolai had their frame out first, so it seems to be the other way around. far be it from dave weagle to steal idea's. i mean there really is only so much you can do with a hard tail frame, so it must be fairly common for a couple of ppl to have similar idea's.

I didn't build it yet, so I haven't ridden it. The split top tube and the 1.5 headset look similar. But I see now that the bridge between the two connecting the seat post are different. It looks beast.
