certainly does not display any amazing or unique riding styles?
altho it shows a sick back ground in a way that you can tell the photographer has talent. but thats all it shows
not taking anything away from the picture. because its sweet, and the sun though the trees and everything is awsome.
just thought we need to capture more/unique/interesting action shots to be pod.

i definitely agree with you. the pic is still a dh/fr setting, but more relaxed. the colours are amazing. people should see biking from a relaxing point of view as well. haven't any of you riders just sat at the top of a trail and looked down before?? i know i have and i'm sure you have to, so just shut up. it clearly deserves POD.

what you've said is right, in other words, you've hit the nail on the head. VOD's are for good riding, POD's can be about the pic quality, lighting, choice of lens, filters, AND good riding, but the awsome riding is NOT the defining factor. so in a nutshell, i'm agreeing with you.

thats our exact problem. now considering you have been non-stop with attempts at witty comebacks, and continue to exceedingly fail at devising one that is successful, i suggest you go away, learn a bit more about why the 'thrills of mountain biking' are achieved and how so, and also learn how to write, because quite frankly, you couldn't argue your way out of a primary school. Maybe upload some pictures of your self sitting on your bike, emphasizing the beautifulness and tranquility it brings to your heart, but I'm afraid to say, with writing like that, your not coming anywhere close to changing peoples opinions to whether or not this should be POD or not. I reckon what he is saying is, that guy was probably sat on his bike for about 10 minutes completely still for this guy to take this shot. With an EPIC picture, maybe a super flip or 3 whip etc, is the timing, Lighting, exposure, contrast. if someone could freeze themselves in the air doing one of these tricks and people could try all day to get a shot like this.

Just not my idea of exciting or anything to be honest.
