flag djman22 (Jan 9, 2009 at 5:07)
Yeah the seat is one of those things that either you love or you hate, i like it its comfortable, light and I dont need padding cuz i dont sit down ever really.

You have a cannondale lizard skin on a transition with sliding drop outs!
  • + 1
flag djman22 (Jan 11, 2009 at 17:27)
yeah, cuz I dont like chain-slap and i got the lizzard skin with my warentee cannondale. Got a problem with that?
  • + 2
flag hawskill (Jan 11, 2009 at 17:38)
Its a sliding drop out bike so if the chain is properly tensioned there should be no chain slap, however to each his own.
  • + 0
flag djman22 (Jan 11, 2009 at 17:54)
however my chain slaps, live with it, the only bike I see on your pics is some shitty Kona
  • - 2
flag djman22 (Jan 11, 2009 at 17:54)
it slaps cuz of my gear ratio.
  • + 2
flag hawskill (Jan 11, 2009 at 18:10)
Hey buddy you dont need to get all defensive, I was just asking. And I dont just own a shitty kona thats my just my latest project bike. But you can just keep touching yourself over you transition with its chain that slaps because you dont know how to properly use sliding drop outs or have a correct length chain.

flag djman22 (Jan 11, 2009 at 18:13)
sorry buddy, I thought you were flaming for having the slap-guard. And I do acctually know how to use horizontal drop outs I just have a tight ratio, so it slaps a bit, or used to. I got a new chain, and just forgot to take it off. It is acctually off right now.

flag hawskill (Jan 11, 2009 at 18:35)
Well it is a sick bike, what type of seat, it just looks like plastic?

flag djman22 (Jan 11, 2009 at 18:36)
it is, its an Eclat Complex PC. one peice seat/post. What other bikes do you have?
  • + 0
flag djking2728 (Jan 25, 2009 at 9:17)
Did you need a shim for the Eclat Complex PC seat
  • + 0
flag creamsoda (Feb 5, 2009 at 10:37)
no because the current transition top uses a 25.4 diameter seat tube, same as bmxes.
  • + 0
flag creamsoda (Feb 5, 2009 at 10:38)
my bad, it's actually a 30.0mm seat tube. i was thinking of the eastern frames!

so yes, a shim is needed

flag eatyourvegetables (Jan 12, 2009 at 19:19)
you should just weld the seat tube shut trials style, that would save even more weight. Hahaha.

flag djman22 (Jan 12, 2009 at 19:21)
I might just have to do that! Thanks for the idea!

flag djman22 (Jan 12, 2009 at 19:22)
By the way I bought wide bars, 29 inches wide...........then I cut them!

flag eatyourvegetables (Jan 12, 2009 at 19:23)

  • + 0
flag djman22 (Jan 12, 2009 at 19:23)

i reli want one now
  • + 0
flag djman22 (Jan 25, 2009 at 9:37)
yes I did, It all depends on your seat-tube diameter. In this picture It just has a lot of electrical tape on it. I ordered a shim that's not in yet.

Is there enough seat post to run it or a bit higher, like high enough to pinch ( for a suicide no hander)?
  • + 0
flag djman22 (Feb 5, 2009 at 13:09)
you can run it a bit higher not much though, It all depends on how long your legs are.
