super shot!!! impresive
give me a 5 thousand dollar camera and some trees yes. I'm just saying PODS should display some level of skill from the rider. Not just riding in a straight line with a good photographer
Even tho this is photo of me actualy i think POD should represent something! This photo was tkaen for a laugh and somehow ended up being POD when there's shit loads amazing photos!! Who the hell is choosing POD's????
Dont question, just accept and enjoy. Its a great pic. I dont think it was chosen for how sic the riding is, (no offence) its just a really well composed, taken and edited shot. Totaly deserves POD in my humble opinion, just for looking rad.
Great shot, not one of the better pod's but looks like a sweet trail and i think it deserves to get pod- better than some of the ones they put up a week or so ago.
feltstraightshot07 if ur going to post a photo it better be good

There is a reason why it is called free riding... non comformist.. free to ride where-ever and wear whatever. Dont always have to be in clown suits.
Nice pic - awesome to see a POD which is a little bit different.
Really looks like one of those 'alone in the woods' moments (apart from the photographer obviously!), where you and your bike just head down to the trails and blow off some steam.
Also from the POD choosing point of view, it's nice to see an average rider getting POD - because it's a nice shot, irrelevant of the skill level of the riding... Maybe one day I'll make POD (or at least I can live the dream anyway!).

To everybody that is complaining about this being POD:
A) See comment above
B) it's PICTURE Of the Day (not rider of the day!)

i work with computers and cameras, thts shopped for sure
i work with computers and cameras, thts shopped for sure
ahh, you are so right,,,
i would say more - copy / paste is my favourite option in psh! seriously... it is so much easier to steal some photo with rider, give chewing gum to kid for jumping in a paddle and shot some photos, then simple and easy cut/paste and here we are! damn, who would like to go to muddy woods and freeze his ass of for real mtb session
adam, come back here in a minimum 8yrs time if f... ever!

I can see the point of view here... It would definitely be easier to get a photo of that puddle splash (that has obviously been created by a bike (or moses) from the shape of it) and get another photo of a rider and copy and paste them together... Than just taking a photo a dusk with a bright flash - thus giving it this lighting effect...
P.S Sorry if I broke your sarcasm detectors.

Anyone can ride through water but this pic is actually kinda cool, I would have to say that this is more photographer than rider though.

it is photoshopped look around the rider and see the dark halo surround him complete cut and paste not POD at all.
thank you, i know its f*ckin shopped, but the guy whos pic this is, says its real
def not you can see the line around all of it
def not you can see the line around all of it
thats so sick and its photophoped of course like all good photos but no cut and paste shit. Steller POD!!!!
lol Do you guys have any imagination? (negative props already
) If you look at the top there are no comments about photoshop - but as soon as one guy suggests it, fashion takes over and ONCE AGAIN EVERYBODY ON PINKBIKE HAS THE SAME OPINION!
"Ohh I read the comment above about some photoshop noob who reckons they're a pro photographer (that uses copy & paste in photoshop LOL) and now I have to agree with them... That's 100% my opinion which I formed by myself, on my own"
Have I taken the piss enough yet?
Although tbh some of the lighting work my have been emphasized using photoshop, although I doubt it.

well....I know its been said up before this but, I think its shopped too. the bottom of the splash doesnt exactly match up with the top of the puddle and the rider looks like hes in the air rather than in pedal mode on the ground. Im pretty sure this is going to get me some negative props but.....sorry
