haha , well if we all have bikes , which we do ,all we need is some skis and bit of metal . and yes lukethorpe we need some snow!!!. i did go up llandegla 2 wednesdays ago and it was shut due to heavy snow , but thats pretty much all the snow we wil have for ages
you have 10inch travel there and the clearence is deffently less then 10inch, and someone to have a bike like that for snow riding will use it properly and bottom it out
Sure that still works, we have been using it last winter but the bike has been sold and the new bike has a 135*12 hub not 150*12 like the V10 so it's over time to modify it. Thanks everybody I didn't thought so many people would be commenting it.
there is a spring keeping it, but you can also put a string from the tip of the ski to the stem. when building this, it's very important to equalize the ski cause when you will take off the ski has to stay at the same place. ++
Does anyone know where to find or how to make proper axles for the drop outs. I have old skis I just need some sort of way to connect it. Any help would be much appreciated.
why arguing ? The only reason why the bike is a v10 is because this snowkit is only available in 150*12 hub, do you really know "crappy bikes" as U tell in 150*12. then how could you break a bike riding on snow ?
calm your bird you dick..i know that you wouldn't use a V10 for that.... I know its convertible but i would personally use a crappy old bike for that, so calm the f*ck down
i dont know i just wouldn't want to tamper with take the time to take the wheels and stuff off and put skies on it. it would be easier with a crappy bike because you wouldn't really care what happens
haha haro357. 'i just wouldn't want to tamper with take the time to take the wheels and stuff off'. good look changing tires on a santa cruz v10 if you wouldn't wanna take the wheels off
