looks like you're having fun on Polish frames!
The team is pretty famous now in Pl , now you're polish ambassadors!
Take care
PS
Can you tell me how the frame works after some serious testing, cause in Pl we have many different opinions on it, nad I consider it for myself in the future.

Well mate, from after a few rides on it i think its truely awesome, corners really well, pedals amazing and handles rock gardens/drops with ease. No rattles at all over the ruff and buttery smooth!

nice to hear such good review from UK riders, now question a bit stupid - how light can you build it is it possible around 37-38lbs?

flag Haarlem (Feb 1, 2009 at 16:07)
yeah bike is EXTREMELY light... was strange, but after riding a stinky.... this bike felt like a feather.

flag gadmack (Feb 1, 2009 at 16:13)
37-38lb is easily achievable. In fact building one of these up to 40lbs is a challenge. I reckon if somebody really obsessed about it they could get it under 36..

My bike with the old kit on it weighed in at 38lbs, now i have new kit and more to come i think it will reduce it even more!!!

You can see for yourselves as the team will be out in Poland at the end of April ripping up your tracks. The bikes are great with some of the best finishing/cnc ive seen in the bike industry and im not say it just because I ride for them as im from an engineering background Wink

my zumbi works very well. bike is lighter, take corners easier. times at same tracks are better. polish people can't estimate value of the frame.

I ride on this, suspension is very good but I saw how this frame cracked end bottom pipe on front triangle incurve, rear triangle incurve to. If you don't belive me... I don't care. Ride on this you'll see.

they have, around about 20 to 30 + times, with no faults and no breaks? so your "MATE" had a faulty frame.
  • + 0
flag Haarlem (Feb 4, 2009 at 10:09)
+ they come with 2 years race warranty so your mate would either get a free frame or a cheap replacement.

Agree- thae problem is not with the frame cracink'- it happens with all manufacteres (especially Kona?), and depends rather on rider's fantasy than strength, but with customer care, opinion is spoiled easier when a small, owner/rider company refuses to replace, the production is low and loosing even one trusty customer is bad. However there are some big names and distributors that are excepition to this rule.

Yeah I agree, I work in the bike industry- very closely with warranty. Ive seen cracked Kona's, Commencals, Specialized, Cannondales, Scotts- the list goes on. It can be a bad 'batch' or rider- who knows, but it happens.

Yep- and that's only the distributors good will to fix the problem, now I can't understand why some refuse to replace a cracked frame, and some don't.
Persolnally I have cracked 3 Univega RAM frames and had no problems at all ( in the mean time they'v changed distribution), but recently Giant , previously Cannondale in Poland had problems with that.
Can't understand, cause it's the company, not the dealer that replaces the frame.

Will not mention the discussion below, but the blog ,akes me proud that Polish products are getting respect all over the world, after so much hassle in here.
So hope your Zumbie's will ride good and take you & your friends to the podium!
