Pretty nice, Iggy. I definitely like the "older" Nomads more than the new ones. Did you see the weight on the new Totem Solo Air? Insane how they can get it so light.
I'm working at a Trek dealer now, so I was thinking of picking up a new Remedy 8 for Spring. Check it out on their site and lemme know what you think.

Damn dude, I wouldn't mind sporting a Remedy 8. Here's a link to one I really like, excellent build - http://www.mrpbike.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/ross-remedy.jpg
It would make a really sick trail bike, that's for sure.

Yeah I would definitely slap either a 2 or 1-ring guide on the front and probably get a Saint SS cage or X.0 SS cage derailleur, but other than that I think I could pretty much keep it stock. The website says that the XT brakes are "custom ti" which is pretty sweet, because I always upgrade my stuff to ti bolts anyway.
Hmmm, definitely don't go 2 ring up front, that's not even cool... Just run a 36t ring or smaller if you still want to climb. But yeah, other than that the stock build looks pretty freaking sweet. Just some minor changes and you're set.
Nah, I like to do this thing called "spin," it requires this thing called "good cadence" and it's achieved with a granny gear. Don't worry, the bike will still be sick as all get out.
Spin and Cadence? Using some roadie terminology now eh? Hah, I'm sure it will still be one of the nicest bikes ever - even with a granny gear - because you always make the nicest bikes ever.
Well thanks Iggy. Yeah I'll let you know how it goes when I start building her up. Anyway nice Nomad! Post more pics when you get the X.0 bits.
Other way around, I haven't put the stickers on the wheels yet :]
I'm thinking about just not even putting them on, I like the low-key DT Swiss stickers on there.

The Clutch SX tires look pretty good... maybe I'll give them a shot, maybe not. I'm leaning toward Minion 2.35 single ply super tacky's right now.
Sweet, i personaly think the stickers on the wheels look better, but each to their own, its still a sick bike.
