he got kicked out of the drag strips for pulling a 6.9 quarter without any protective gear. and he got kicked out of the circuits cause he was celebrating after a win in nevada and looped the bike at 120.

maybe you mean 6.9 8th mile lol
  • + 3
flag DHBANSHEE (Feb 10, 2009 at 11:13)
uhh. .2? do your math. he did a 6.9, the other guy had a 6.4. thats .5. thats a half second dude. thats a lotta time. and my uncle had a drag bar on it at the time. those bikes are meant to get off the line really really fast but dont get all that much top end. my uncle leavs slower, but as soon as he gets into second it annihilates those bikes. so go ahead. call BS, but youll be stupid to call bs on something you dont have a f*cking clue about. and btw; MKEMTTN, a 6.9 8th mile would equal a 13.8 quarter. i can do a 13.8 quarter in my dads silverado, and its stock. maybe you 2 should get edumacationed before you go posting stupid ass posts.
  • - 1
flag mkemttn (Feb 10, 2009 at 11:22)
hahaha your an idiot and that is bs that that bike can run a 6.9 sec quarter mile time a hyabusa with a turbo is only doin it in like 8-9sec and haha yeah i bet your dads silverado does the quarter mile in 13.8 you are funny i wanna see a video of this bike doin the quarter un less than 10 sec cause even that would be impressive for that bike and 6.9 8th doesnt mean it is gonna be 13.8 quarter, you usually are not goin top speed at the 8th mile so it would be lower than 13.8
  • + 2
flag DHBANSHEE (Feb 10, 2009 at 11:28)
your a f*cking retard!!!! a huyabusa isnt meant for runs as short as a quarter you stupid f*ck! a huyabusa is a superbike and is meant for long, wide open, TT tracks. jesus crist dude. try to actually learn from your own expiriences. a huyabusa isnt all that great. that bike has records in AZ, nevada, and california. and BTW: its also been nicknamed "BusaKiller" by the top mechs at the circuits in AZ. just because the busa has a 1300 desnt mean its faster that a 1000. stupid ass. and plus, a busa with a turbo runs a slower quarter than a busa thats N/A (normally aspirated) because the turbo takes so long to spool up. trust me dude, your not as smart as you might think you are. i have been around this stuff since my mom left when i was 4. i have been wrenching on things since i was in Kindergarten. dont try to tell me that you know anything that i dont. cause its not gonna happen.

as i remember, the guys that started Marzocchi were 2 brothers (last name Marzocchi) who worked for Ducatti. They left Ducatti and used the knowledge they now had to start making suspensions for motorcycles. later, they expanded, making suspension for bikes also.

The heritage of Italian motorsport is full of names like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Ducati, and most importantly Marzocchi. It was over 50 years ago, in 1949 to be exact when Stefano and Guglielmo Marzocchi founded Marzocchi Spa, which today produces the finest, best performing Mountain bike and Motor bike suspension products in the world. The two brothers began their career as designers at the prestigious Ducati company, but soon realized that building their own empire was the direction in which they wanted to go.

After several successful years of designing and manufacturing complete motor bikes, the brothers decided that hydraulic suspension was to be the future of Marzocchi. In the late 50s Marzocchi became known as an OEM and aftermarket supplier for brands such as Ducati, BMW, Cagiva, KTM and Aprillia. Stefano and Guglielmo always placed strong emphasis on performance without compromise. Marzocchi products were, and still are known to be the best performing and best built suspension products in the worldwide.

During the late 1980s, the mountain bike industry began to take off and Marzocchi responded. Consumers began asking for suspension on the front end of their mountain bikes. As a result, Marzocchi introduced its first prototype MTB suspension fork in 1989. As the market developed further, so did Marzocchi and in 1995 the Bomber had arrived.

stock f2 ^

HUH, call me crazy but im pretty sure these two bikes look the same. The bike i linked has stock exhaust.... i find it hard to believe your uncle is pushing 420 horse out of the STOCK exhaust. Not to mention the bikes is totally stock, i find it a little wierd that someone would put all that cash into a motor and not touch ANYTHING else.

If its used to be a drag bike, show us the wheelie bar, lengthened and widened swingarm ( need to fit the slick tire in order to hook that up) and could you also please show us the legthened front end to keep that bad boy stable at those speeds..?

THIS bike runs 6.91 and its a FULL on drag bike.

no offense but its pretty hard to believe this , that frame wont hold up to 6.9 sec 1/4, them tires wont grip with that amount of acceleration, and that exhaust will just restrict the bike so much if it really does have that much power that the engine wont last .

flag DHBANSHEE (Jul 14, 2009 at 9:21)
frame is fine, and those arent the tires it used for racing, and the exhaust was put on just to make it street legal, and the engine will last plenty. should read previous comments.

and u wont fit a big ass tire on the back of that with out an entire new rearend also its wheel base is way too short, the bike will just flip up.

flag DHBANSHEE (Jul 14, 2009 at 9:22)
it wont flip unless you let it. and no, the swing arm is plenty big.

the exhaust is way too restrictive, if u put the turbo on and keep tht shitty exhaust u will end up with soo much back pressure u'll blow the bike

nobody said i was definately puttin the turbo on, and if i did, its not hard to take off the tip....

u reali arnt too clued up on bikes are u lol, u will need a full new manifold with tht type of power, also the drag bikes tht are runnin the times tht urs supposedly is runnin are ran on pure nitro methane to reach them times.

flag DHBANSHEE (Jul 14, 2009 at 9:32)
im clued plenty on bikes, there is nothing wrong with the manifold (you cant see it, how you know?)... and they only use nitrotane to get the extra power cause they are restricted on displacement size... thats the only reason. so, get a bigger displacement, and you can run 106 octane gasoline.

oh yea, i totally understand. people are weary of it even after it gets done at the end of the track. if you dont believe me, its fine. i just know what its made of. oldschool superbikes are hard to beat.

its "quiet"

well, the engine sounds like a big pile of shit getting blown up, i dont think it matters if there is a f*cking chain whine... lol. big deal... whatever... thats why i smirk at choppers as i blow by in a 4th gear wheelie with the middle finger blowing in the wind. hahaha
