Now my Demo 8 is a 20mm/10mm, will this set work?

Demos use a 135mm rear axle which is dumb on Specialized's part. These wheels are a 150mm which seems to be the standard for most current DH bikes. So in other words, they wont fit your Demo. If you want a nice set of wheels for your Demo I would suggest something like Saint Hubs on 721's.
